When Dr. Slaughter founded Ruralosophy, she envisioned it as a space to think critically and creatively about rural postsecondary education. Ruralosophy has remained true to that identity but has evolved to become a connoisseur of high-quality theoretical and conceptual rural-centered work and a change agent with an affinity for rural people, places, and ideologies.
